When You'll get your first Payment


When you can get JobSeeker Payment is based upon your circumstances. There may be some waiting periods that affect how quickly you can get your very first payment.

What you need to do before you earn money

You'll need to finish your initial tasks and report your earnings before we can make your first payment. Read about brand-new to JobSeeker Payment.

When you'll make money

For the most part, you'll get your first JobSeeker Payment around 2 weeks after we authorize your claim You might have to wait if any waiting durations apply. Once your payment starts, we'll pay you fortnightly.
