Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you incomes, you can send your employer a written need for payment of salaries by mail, employment email, text, or other electronic ways. A written need might be sent to the company at the exact same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue wages is submitted with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be discovered on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website.
Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is gotten and reviewed, a letter discussing the nature of the complaint and the amounts declared to be owed is sent to the employer. For additional information about the examination process, please examine the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations - Employer FAQs website.
Investigations Launched by the Division (" Direct Investigations"): The Division might conduct employer-wide direct examinations of possible offenses of Colorado wage and hour law. If you wish to submit a tip, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you wish to submit a specific claim for unpaid salaries, you need to fill out a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage. To appeal a direct examination citation or one or more Notices of Assessment, a supposed employer might send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
